Dallas Gentry was born in Paul, Alabama to Cecil and Gertrude Potts on May 27, 1940. Dallas proudly served in the US Army for 16 years with the 82nd Airborne. Dallas moved to Colorado Springs in 2005.
Dallas was preceded in death by his parents.
Dallas is survived by his cherished friend, Mary Oates; his sons, Scott (LeAnn) Potts, Jim Godley, David (Rita) Oates and daughter Jandra (Cory) Suarez.
Dallas will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 2pm at memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Home Chapel with a Reception following at First Baptist Church , 317 E. Kiowa.
