Dana M. Stambene passed away on Sunday, May 22nd, 2016.
Dana was born February 15th, 1962 and was a lifelong Colorado Springs
resident. She was a nurse with Memorial Hospital for 18-years, working in the
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Dana spent most of her working years providing
care to premature babies, and comforting grieving parents. Dana was a beloved
mother, sister, daughter, adored wife and a savior to hundreds of premature babies.
She was a lover of dogs in all shapes and sizes, horses of all colors and breeds and
a rock to anyone in need. The world is dimmer without you. May Michael Jackson
forever be playing. She is gone too soon. We love you!
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 28th at Divine Redeemer
Catholic Church located at 926 Farragut Ave. Reception will be held at
12:30 PM at The Antlers Hotel, Downtown, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
