He is survived by his mother Kathy, sister Kelly, brother-in-law Glenn, 2 nephews Zach and Tyler, 2 nieces Kalyn and Sydney, aunts, uncles and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father Pat, grandfather and grandmother Maurice and Phyliis Smock, William and Lila Moore and uncle Michael Moore.
Bart worked as an electrician for T-Bone Construction in the electrical division and a foreman journeyman electrician for Systems Electric over the past 15 years.
Bart loved to fish and take his dogs to Lathrop State Park about 2-3 times a week and catch dinner. Recently, Bart had taken an interest in holistic medicine and started making his own remedies.
Bart will be remembered for his quick, witty and sarcastic sense of humor and his huge heart - he adored his family, friends and his cats and dogs.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Friday, October 10, 2025 at 2:00pm at Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Avenue Colorado Springs.
