Dan was born in Newport Beach, California on May 10th, 1968. At the age of four his family moved to Longmont, Colorado and later moved back to California. As an athlete he competed in football, wrestling, and track & field. He graduated from Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo, California. Dan worked for Ralph’s before pursuing a career related to his real passion-cars. He moved back to Colorado and found his way into paintless dent repair which included intensive training in Arkansas. Eventually Dan returned to California as it was a better market for his craft. He started his own company, DR Dent Solutions, and quickly became the "Go To Guy" for body work, paint, and everything in between. He loved his work and as a perfectionist, took a great deal of pride in every job he did. He truly was an artist.
Dan was determined to be the best he could be in all that he did. He demonstrated this drive throughout his life. Dan was a man of high character and is described by friends and family as selfless, humble, diligent, devoted, kind, loving, witty, a craftsman, courageous, strong, guileless, talented, funny, caring, amazing, mighty, thoughtful, passionate, a story teller, a mentor, a host.......
He lived a wonderful life surrounded by love and laughter and truly knew how to enjoy life. Dan loved a good prank or joke and could match wits with the best of them! He dearly loved his family and friends. His family seemed to grow daily because he did not know a stranger and touched everyone he met with his kind and loving heart.
He was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed but will remain in our hearts today and always until we are rejoined with him.
“Do not let your hearts be troubled.
You believe in God; believe also in me.
My Father’s house has many rooms;
if that were not so,
would I have told you that
I am going there to prepare a place for you?"
John 14:1-2
