David went everywhere his Grampa did and they were inseparable Ghoulie had an incredible imagination and could keep David entertained for hours. This imagination sometimes also got them in trouble by David’s Mom and Grama Gwen and would be shared later in life with his daughter Brooklyn. When he became of age to hunt he enjoyed hunting with his Grandpa, Dad and Uncle Duke.

He loved taking his dogs Hunter & Miko to Palmer Park and the Airforce Academy for hikes and an occasional swim. His grandparents (Jim & Gwen) had a boat and canoe so boating and fishing at Rampart Reservoir, Pueblo reservoir, and the Catamount Lakes was also a weekend activity along with many picnics.
He met Jenni Kaska in 2008 and they brought Brooklyn his first daughter into the world in 2010, he called her “Brook Trout” when she was young and “Beautiful” when she was older. They enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping in the mountains with Jenni’s parents Vern & Linda Kaska.

David and Manda were planning to build a life together with Miaka and Manda’s two boys Ion and Laguado.
David held various jobs throughout his life in construction and automotive repair. He studied computer science and took welding courses and decided welding was his passion. He asked God to make him a welder and so his career began with Encon he became a precast setter/welder. His work sometimes required travel to Denver and even Montana. One of his fondest achievements was when he had an opportunity to set precast and weld on top of Pike’s Peak at the new visitor center. He later was offered a position at Elite Precast Erectors and traveled to Florida and North Carolina for a brief time before returning to his former position at Encon.
David had an award-winning personality, he was quick, witty and a perpetual fountain of original “one liners”. He loved making people laugh and was very good at it. He loved people and had a very large circle of friends, from both his childhood, and his life in Colorado. They were all very near and dear to him, and he spoke of them all often.
