Gayle and Family,

My heart aches for you, and a sense of numbness came over me upon hearing the news. Dave and I shared a cube for years at Schriever, and I was overwhelmed with a flood of memories. His love of you and his daughters was on always on display in his area, as was his love and enjoyment of like. Prayers of strength to you. Rest in Peace Dave.

I am so saddened to hear of David’s passing. We worked together for years at Lockheed Martin. He was one of the most positive people I ever knew, always greeting you with a smile and a kind word. Engineer to be sure, mentor and friend to many, he is surely to be missed. Strength to Gayle and family. Be at peace Dave.

In my heartbreak I recall so many wonderful “Dave Moments” from the 10 years we worked side by side at Schriever AFB. He had a contagious joy for life, except for the snow and cold, and made a friend of everyone he met. He was so proud of his daughters. We are all better having known him and he will live on in fond memories. Rest in peace my fellow University of New Mexico Lobo.
