David Harold Wilson

DECEMBER 9TH, 1936- JULY, 26TH, 2011

David Harold Wilson passed away July 26th, 2011. He was born in Des Moines Iowa December 9th, 1936. David was married to Vivian Elaine Rease (Wilson) (Deceased) June 14th 1958. David was an active member in the Pikes Peak Rainbows Camping Chapter family RVers. Rocky Roos Bounders Group, and the Pikes Peak RVers, until his illness. He was a member of the 1st Congregational Church of Christ. David was an Honorably Discharged Veteran in 1964 at the rank of sergeant.

David spent several years as a deputy Sheriff with the Sheriffs posy in Colorado Springs. And was the credit manager for Woodford MFG Company for 30 years until his retirement.

David is survived by his sons: Michael D. Wilson, Steven A. Wilson. Grandsons: Ryan M. Wilson, Jason D. Wilson and Michael J. Wilson. Step Grandchildren: Josh Graham (Wilson), Shanen Tracy Norlin and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday August 4th from 10:00 a.m-12:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday August 4th at 12:00 noon, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road Colorado Springs Colorado with interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Colorado Springs Humane Society or Odyssey Hospice Health Care Colorado Springs.
