DeBorah is survived by Tachine Cook, Jerry McCallup III, and siblings Beryl Love, Michael Cook, and Saundra Cook. She was predeceased in death by her father, Edsel Cook, mother, Annie Cook, and brothers, Kenneth Cook and Gregory Cook.
DeBorah was known to many as Debbie, DB, Debbie Jean, Tante Debbie and Mau Mau by those who knew and loved her. She was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend who loved with her whole heart, was always willing to help those in need, and would go without so she could give to someone else - all without expecting anything in return.
She stressed the importance of taking care and being there for each other. She referred to us as 33 and a 3rd which stood for family and that no matter what was going on in our life at any given time. When it came to the 33 and a 3rd we knew the rest was not as important as being a family and sticking together. You did what you had to do back to each other, to honor each other, to love each other and to share. We thank her for that. We can only pray that someday our children will grasp the meaning, love it and honor it in her name.
DeBorah was extremely smart, quick witted and had a sharp tongue. While she had no issues telling you what was on her mind, she was also very sensitive and soft hearted. She loved to laugh, watch horror movies, and sip Quervo.
This was a life lost way to soon, and she was loved by so many and will be dearly missed by all her friends and family.
