She attended Helen Hunt Elementary, South Junior High and graduated from Doherty High School in 1978. While at South Junior High, Gayle enjoyed being a cheerleader and singing in the Glee Club. After high school, Gayle went on to study cosmetology. With her extensive knowledge of makeup and hair, she participated and won several competitions. She loved her career doing hair and makeup and is still known to this day because of her expertise. She gave birth to Raylon Ausborne on March 21, 1976 and Antony Ausborne on June 21, 1978. Her sons and her grandbabies were her pride and joy!

Gayle loved to have a good conversation, be it on the phone or in person. She especially loved to debate any topic with her little brother Beaky. She knew no strangers. She had a special gift with kids. She loved all her “babies”. Her other hobbies included drawing, crocheting, and reading. She also loved to cut a rug. Anytime there was music on you would hear her singing. She would always sing to her “babies”.

Grandma Gayle was always so loving. She would do anything to help others. She loved all of little Tony’s friends as her own grandchildren. Thankful to spend some time over the phone with her last month. Sending our love and prayers to the family. 💜
