Della Jean Gray, 59, passed away at her home in Colorado Springs on December 26, 2010. She was born December 29, 1950 in Renton, Washington to Samuel D. and Annie M. Chadwick. She was one of four children. Her father preceded her in death.
Della is survived by her mother, Annie Margaret Chadwick; children, Stacey Strieff, Shawn Gray, Maureen Gray and Melissa Gray; five grandchildren, Damon and Darrian Stickney, Devin Wood, Sebastian Gray and Maya Speegle; siblings, Wimmer Chadwick, Kathy Nelson, and Jane Hoskin, many nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends.
Della was a dedicated employee and volunteer to the Town of Palmer Lake for the past 17 years.
A Celebration of Della’s life will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Crest Event Center in Palmer Lake. A reception will be immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wells Fargo Bank, Monument, Colorado Branch.
