Lynn was born November 13, 1947 in Denver, Colorado to Dewey and Bettymae Phipps. He was the oldest of 3.
After graduating from Aurora Central in 1966 he joined the US Navy and served for 4 years on the USS Oklahoma City. When home on leave he met Ingrid, and they were married on September 28, 1968. They lived in Japan for 1 year. After the military Lynn was a successful sales rep for various companies and traveled extensively. He enjoyed serving at church and loved cycling, he was able to do “Ride the Rockies” several times and once with his grandson Wesley. He also enjoyed camping with his family and friends, and we will all miss his smile and sense of humor the most.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Lisa Moe.
Lynn leaves behind his devoted wife of 55 years, Ingrid; his brother, Lee (Linda) Phipps; his brother-in-law, Dennis Moe; his daughter, Kristine (Randy) Tidd; his son, Todd (Helen) Phipps; his grandchildren, Freedom (Jon) Edon, Wesley (Candice) Tidd, Savannah (Clint) Tryon, Amber (Travis) Schmoll, and Destiny (Brian) Stillwell; numerous nieces, nephew, and cousins; and his 9 great-grandchildren that he enjoyed spoiling at every chance he had.
