Doris Hartsell

Doris A. Hartsell, 93, of Colorado Springs went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 26, 2020. Ms. Hartsell was born on October 24, 1927 in Las Animas, Colorado to Wayne and Snoodie Lesher, who are deceased. She was married to Earl Hartsell on March 22, 1947, who is also deceased. They were married for 54 beautiful years. She was a homemaker, mother, and for a short time a school bus driver.

She is survived by two sons, Doug (Susie) and Dennis (Linda), and two daughters Carol Hanson (Stephen) and Teresa Hartsell. She loved eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers, and two grandsons. She was loved by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Her funeral will be Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 11:30 am at First Southern Baptist Church, 1409 Palmer Park Blvd. Unfortunately, due to current restrictions, there will be no reception following the service. Burial will be January 7, 2021 at 11:00-11:30 am at Las Animas Cemetery in Las Animas, CO.
