Dorothy Legere, age 80, of Colorado Springs, died September 22, 2018. She was born on her grandparent’s farm outside of Goff, Kansas to Harold Vernon and Louise (Clarkson) Vernon. On January 18, 1958, Dorothy married Joseph William Legere Jr. She was a loving wife and mother that supported her husband serving 30 years in the Air Force. Throughout their lives, the family moved 17 times and settled in Colorado Springs. She worked and retired from the Academy Officer’s Club after 25 years.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Legere (Bill). Four children: Michelle Mick (John), Denise Inscho, Annette Kaska (Gregg), and Renee Wyatt (Todd). Six grandchildren: David, Megan, Joe, Dakota, Jess, and Zachary. One sibling Kathryn Perrin.
Family and friends are invited to a service at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Drive, 80918, on October 5th, 2018, 11:00am. A rosary will be held at 10:00am.
