Dorothy Mae McNeil

.Dorothy (Dottie) McNeil 80 of Colorado Springs, Co. passed away unexpectedly September 22, 2011. She was born December 15, 1930 in Sidney, Nebraska. She married Arlie G. Shaw June 9, 1956 and raised two children, Deborah and Terry. She married Lewis McNeil July 5th 1974.

Dorothy enjoyed playing games, scenic drives, movies, watching the Broncos and Rockies. She especially enjoyed family gatherings and events. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh, sweet disposition and talent for cooking. She leaves many loving memories of Mother, Dottie, Grandma, and Old Gramma.

Survived by her are her Daughter Deborah Green and Husband Nathan of Grand Junction Co., and Son Terry Shaw and wife Sharon of Calhan Co., 7 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis McNeil, mother Leona (Domeier) Lundberg, father Lloyd Lundberg, and sister Madeline (Maggie) Bartlett.

Service is scheduled for October 10th 2011 at 1p.m. at Swan Law Funeral Director 501 North Cascade Ave. Family and Friends are invited to join us for a reception at The Shaw’s following the memorial service.
