Uncle Doug you will always hold a special place in my heart. My memories are rich...From baby sitting us when we were little kids, sneaking in your room to burry Sara under your water bed and uou kicking us out, teaching me to place bat-gammon and horse shoes and to all the fun times we had every time you came out to visit us in California! Boy do I have some funny memories with you! You may have had your struggles but I can honestly say you were one person I felt would do anything for those you loved;) You were a good person with a big heart and Im proud to call you my uncle! You will be missed but I know your free now! I love you Uncle

I hadn't seen Doug in years.  I still thought of him often even though we only met a few times. Uncle Doug left a lasting impression on everyone...  Good hearted and fun-loving...  Carefree, even if maybe to a fault--but there's still something to be learned in that and I am better for having known him.  God bless Doug and the family.
