I did not know Dylan but I was walking section 16 in Black Forest today, a day after Memorial Day and was drawn to sit on a bench dedicated to him and his memory. He was exactly 10 months older than my youngest son and born the day of my mom who passed away last year. I pray for Dylan and his family and friends that you have peace and joy and a wonderful blessed family reunion when you all rejoice at seeing each other once again in heaven with our God and Lord and Savior. What a wonderful thing to count on!!! What a nice memory to have to honor Dylan on this lovely day. This bench is peaceful. 

Last school year Dylan came second semester to help his mom in her 4th grade class room. My grandson was in Paula's class. Riley just thought the sun rose and sat in Dylan.  At the end of the school day Dylan would come by the office to pick up this or that for his mom or just to say hi. He got to know my other two grandchildren as well. They all thought Dylan was great! He was such a charming, handsome young man. We will all miss him so much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Paula.

I am in shock with a heavy heart as I write this, just as I was when I heard the news. Dylan was a great friend who had a great sense of humor and a smile that lit up the room. We lost touch after I'd moved, but I never forgot about him and all of the fun times we had, he even gave me a nickname, Alliver-haha. I'll miss him so much and I pray he's at peace now. Heaven has definitely gained another Angel. I send my deepest condolences to the Denning family, I wish I was able to make it to the service. You're all in my prayers and I'll be thinking of you on Sunday.
