Kuhnle, Eddythe C., 87, passed away January 23, 2019. Eddythe was born August 28, 1931 to Edward and Josie Carter in Van Vleet, Mississippi. Eddythe attended Holmes Junior College. Eddythe was working for Southern Bell Telephone when she met and married the love of her life on August 8, 1953, George “Dick” Kuhnle.
She had many adventures moving around the country with Dick’s job, living in Alaska and New Jersey among other fun places. Eddythe was a Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher and vacation bible school teacher. She was a member of Sunrise United Methodist Church. Eddythe was active in the United Methodist Women’s group among many other groups within the church and was at one time a volunteer at the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Eddythe is survived by her brother, Thomas Carter (Martha); daughters, Kathy Kuhnle and Kristie Williamson (Craig); 4 grandchildren: Samantha Fulmer (Bryce), Johnny Marvel, Seth Williamson, Noah Williamson; and great-grandson, Kaiden Marvel. Eddythe is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dick; and Johnny’s wife, Nikki.
