

Ed was born on January 7, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward John and Mary Emily (Slowik) Hojnacki. He had two sisters Margaret and Barbara and one brother Richard. Growing up in Chicago, Ed participated in sports at Trinity High School and after graduation started work at Palmer Printing in Downtown Chicago. Ed was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and was in the Military Police.
In 1974, Edward met Andrea, Bengtson Miller through his sister Margaret and were married on September 6, 1975. They enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and DisneyWorld in Florida and many trips to Wisconsin for fishing. They had one son, Kendrick C. Miller (Jill Schrader), who enjoyed and participated in all sports.
Ed enjoyed Fishing, Bowling and Golf. Every summer he participated in the Polish Tournament with family and friends over the years.
Edward is preceded in death by his loving parents, John and Mary Hojnacki and brother Richard.
Edward is survived by his loving wife, Andrea, and son Kendrick; his grandchildren Jessica Elaine (Steven Holt) and Anna Lee; his siblings Margaret Pauper, and Barbara (James) Indelak; and two Great Grandchildren, Trace Alexander Holt and Katherine Joyce Holt; and a nephew, Douglas (Lauren) Indelak and many cousins.
A Gravesite Mass will be held June 11, 2025 at 9:00 am at Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Edward’s name.
