Ed grew up in Solomon, Kansas. He was the youngest of 6 children and the only boy of the bunch. He had a rebellious, free spirit that followed him throughout his years.
He loved hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, cars, motorcycles, guns, getting into trouble and all kinds of thrills. He saw and did so many things in all the years he was given. When he became a father in the fall of '91 he enjoyed a whole new adventure of life. He lived for all 3 of his girls and provided for his family in every way that he could. He welcomed his first grandchild in 2012 and he was so thrilled to finally have a boy in the family.
Ed was the hardest working man you would ever meet. He put his work and his family on the top of his list and never let down either one. He was quick with a joke and quick with a smile. That part of him will forever be missed.
He is survived by his girls; Kylie (Stephen) Wood, Brittany Otto and her boyfriend Cody Slater, and Alexis Otto, sisters; Janet (Larry) StClair, Nancy (Don) Boyer, and Deann (Robert) Guerra and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in passing by his parents and sisters; Pamela Otto and Sandra Ledford.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 5, 2022 at Chapel of Memories, beginning at 10:00am.
Ed will be laid to rest in the mountains at a later date.
