Elizabeth "Betty" Wynkoop 87 of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed unexpectedly on January 6, 2016. Betty was born on October 22, 1928 to the late Peter and Mary Klein in Dwight, Illinois. Betty spent most of her working career as a Civil Service in the military beside her Army husband Dean Wynkoop. She is survived by her daughters Holly and Teri Taylor, brother William Klein and sister Mitzi Polly as well 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her husband Dean and daughter Dawn Wynkoop. A Visitation will be held, Friday, January 15, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with funeral services following all at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home located at 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910
