Dear Stubbs Family,
It was an honor to know Elmer, even though only briefly.  I visited him with my beautiful Russian Wolfhounds at his nursing home and when he was well, he always saved a treat for them or let a potato chip drop to the floor! I always felt he appreciated them and of course, any connection to his beloved Russia meant alot to him.  He leaves a wonderful legacy of love and faith to all who knew him.

Oh Papa, My heart is shattered with your departure from earth, but I know that Love NEVER dies so we will be together forever! Please give my David a big hug for me and tell him Mom misses him so much!
