Erique “E.” Hickerson, 45, passed away suddenly on December 4, 2010 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was born on September 25, 1965 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a long time Colorado Springs resident from 1981 to 2000. Erique worked as a chef for many years.
Erique was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Hickerson, Sr. and his grandparents, Virgil and Celestne Clarke. He is survived by his mother, Brenda Hickerson-Paysinger, brother, Charles F. Hickerson, Jr., stepfather, Ralph Paysinger, niece, Jaden Hickerson, all of Colorado Springs, CO, an uncle, Virgil Clarke, Jr. of CA, an aunt Joyce Parker of Philadelphia, PA, and a host of relatives.
Erique will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, and especially by his Knoxville, Tennessee family.
Erique chose to donate his organs and will continue to live on through 8 recipients.
A visitation will be held in the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 13, 2010 from 12:00-2:00pm, and the service will follow at 2:00pm.
