Eugene Michael Pascarelli

On Tuesday, January 18, 2022 "Geno" (aka Gene Michael Pascarelli), loving son, brother, co-worker and friend, unexpectedly left this world at the age of 68 to go on to his next great adventure. Gene was born to the late Joseph Pascarelli and Alma Louise Pascarelli on June 7, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York. He went to school in Phoenix, Arizona, and Elko, Nevada, but chose Colorado Springs, Colorado to be his forever home in the 1970's.

Gene was gifted mechanically. During and after high school he spent his life specializing in equipment maintenance, especially with small engines and golf course equipment. His skill sets were appreciated at prestigious locations, including the Broadmoor Hotel Golf Club and the Colorado Springs Country Club, where he has been equipment manager since 1998. He was honored as an "unsung hero" by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), Golf Course Management (GCM) and Foley United for the international 2011 Most Valuable Technician Award.

Gene had a passion for photography and won many awards for his prints and pictures throughout the years. He was also known for his dry wit and often gruff exterior, affectionately called "The Bear." He loved gun shows, beautifully crafted knives and the excitement of gambling. Gene felt strongly that the U.S. should politically be "Not Right, Not Left, but Forward" and was part of the Unity Party of America that began in Colorado, and has spread throughout the United States.

He left behind his brother Fred Pascarelli (Jayne), brother, Tom Pascarelli, and sister, Angel Pascarelli Miller (Jack), along with many extended family members; including his nephews, aunts and cousins. His family is forever in debt to his work-family, members and friends at the Colorado Springs Country Club for all of their help during this difficult time.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE for Geno Pascarelli will be held on March 16th at 11:00 AM at the Colorado Springs Country Club, 3333 Templeton Gap Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907.

Please join us to share stories, enjoy some food, and celebrate the life of a wonderful friend, brother, coworker.

The celebration will last until 2pm so join us if you can. We will capture some video as well if you are unable to make the trip.
