Evelyn was a Mechanical and Project Engineer at Gables Engineering in Coral Gables for 12 years. Prior to this position, she was employed by various aerospace firms in Detroit, Tucson, and Los Angeles.
She was born August 31, 1946 in Denver, Colorado. She is survived by her son, Richard Buchanan; grandchildren, Ian and Rorie Buchanan all of Chicago, Illinois; as well as three sisters, Virginia Sandifer, Jonelle Lewis, and Janice Green. Evelyn was predeceased in death by her parents, Edward Orville and Alyce Merle Jones Green.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., at the Swan-Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
