Evelyn Kathleen McFadden

Evelyn (Duffy) Kathleen McFadden, a long-time resident of Colorado Springs, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on June 4, under the loving care of her family, Mackenzie Place caregivers, Visiting Angels and Legacy Hospice.

Born August 31, 1934 in Dayton Ohio, Evelyn and her family moved to Colorado Springs in 1970.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Fred, and their son Michael. Evelyn was an accomplished bridge player, a dedicated care-giver, loving mother, wife and grandmother. She leaves behind to cherish her memory daughters Chris (Tony) Falette, Theresa (Paul) Lutze, sister Mary Pat St. Jacques of Germantown Ohio, grandchildren Jason (Jennifer) Falette, Chesarae Falette. Maegan (Brian) Contreras and Ryan Lutze, great grandsons Corban and Braedan Contreras and many beloved nieces and nephews. Evelyn’s warm heart, smiling Irish eyes and contagious laugh will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 13 at Our Lady of the Pines, 11020 Teachout Road.
