I was unable to  attend Floyd's Memorial yesterday because of a bad cold. I was hired by Farmers in 1988 to
take over facility maintenance, so only worked with him for 2 years. However, I am sure he gave the final approval for my hire out of dozens of applicants. The relative low stress of that position compared to previous jobs enabled me to be a much better husband and father.
For that, I am eternally grateful! So sorry, Madge. My wife died 6 years ago, also on April 5th.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I will always remember how kind Floyd was to me and all the friends who just loved hanging out at your house! He was quick with a smile and to ask if we needed a snack 😊. I'm so happy that he came into your lives and gave your Mom many years of happiness. May you have fond memories that provide comfort.  I love you all.
