After a full and long life, shared with wife Joanie and kids, Elaine, Wendy and Tim, Floyd Francis Schuhrke passed on, August 28, 2026. Born in rural North Dakota, September 8, 1935, into a family of 10 children, gave him everything he needed for his life filled with family, his own Floyd's Backhoe Service, and lots of travel with Joan to many corners of the globe. Missing his 91st birthday by just a few days, he passed peacefully in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his family near. The family plans a graveside service at a date to be set in the near future. He'll be interred at Eastonville Cemetery, Black Forest, Colorado.
