Gerald D. Harding, 91, passed away March 30, 2010 at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on March 24, 1919 in Beaver City, Nebraska to Ralph and Blanche Harding, who preceded him in death. He was one of five children. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Russell, Forrest, Violet and Veryl.
Gerald proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 32 years. He had resided in Colorado Springs since the early 1960’s. Hobbies included wood working, rock tumbling, and clock making.
He is survived by his daughter, Julie (Fred) Matthews; sons, Hans (Laddie) Angeline and Earl Harding; ten grandchildren including, Olivia, Grant and Spencer.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., Lakeside Cemetery,1525 South 9th Street, Canon City, Colorado.
