Memorial Services celebrating the life of Geraldine (Gerri) Armstrong of Colorado Springs, Colorado will be held Saturday February 8, 2020 at 1:00 pm, at Chapel of Memories 829 S. Hancock Ave., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.

Mama entered into God loving arms surrounded by her daughters and granddaughters on Saturday, January 25, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born April 17, 1945 to Sally D. Lee in Chicago, Illinois. She gave her life to the Lord at an early age and made sure all of her children knew him as well.

A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was called mom by many because of her kind and loving heart. Mom enjoyed cooking and was even happier knowing that it was enjoyed by many. She also enjoyed sewing and taught her girls to sew as well. She enjoyed watching Judge shows and Westerns. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family.

Mom attended St. Anne high school in St. Anne Illinois where she met and married Robert L. Armstrong Sr. As the seasons of life change, mom moved on to Champaign, Il to raise her children. She worked for the University of Illinois and later for the Urban League of Champaign County. Mom moved to Colorado Springs in 1997 to be close to her children and grandchildren and this was called home until she received her final home in heaven.

Mom is survived by her children; Robert L. Armstrong Jr., Credell Wesley, Carlanna Douglas(Maurice), Albert Armstrong, Melinda Davis(Steve), Aaron Armstrong. Her Grand-children; Great-grandchildren, Sister Joyce Glenn, Brothers Jeff Lee(Dorothy), James Lee and life long friend Alice Mcgee.

Mom was greeted in Heaven by her mother Sally D. Lee, brothers; Isaac Lee, Charles Lee, Arthur Lee, John C. Lee, and John H. Lee.

Geraldine Armstrong was loved and will be missed by many as she received her heavenly gift of eternal life.
