

Geraldine M. Westberg, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on November 6, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in Kearney, Nebraska, July 17, 1949 the first of four children born to Gerald and Betty Baxter.
Geri graduated from Adams City High School in 1967. After graduation she went to Tomlinson College in Cleveland, Tennessee. In 1970, she married her teenage sweetheart Kenneth Westberg and started her life as a “Navy” wife. She later finished her college education and enjoyed a 20 year career in Human Resources.
Family, friends and her Christian Faith were extremely important in her life. She enjoyed playing piano and singing in the choir for her church. She spent many hours on her favorite pastimes to include arts and crafts, spoiling her grandchildren and participating in her local church community. She enjoyed family vacation which included camping in Colorado parks, Hawaii, and Caribbean cruises.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, devoted husband, Kenneth Westberg, loving children, Michael and Lisa Westberg of Colorado Springs, Colorado; precious grandchildren, Makayla, Kira, Tyler and Jessie; mother Betty Baxter; siblings, Thom, Joy and Kathy; as well as a host of wonderful brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. also at Swan-Law Funeral Directors. Burial will take place at the Fort Logan National Cemetery located at 4400 W. Kenyon Avenue, Denver, Colorado on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 9:15 a.m.
