Glen A. Palmer, age 60, passed away peacefully at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Friday, January 24, 2025. Glen was born on May 11, 1964 in West Palm Beach, Florida to Odell Palmer (currently of South Carolina) and Jo Alexis Studley ( who preceded him in death).
Glen was a long time resident of Colorado Springs, and graduated from Doherty High School in 1982. He also recently graduated from Colorado Technical University with a B.S. in Business Administration. Glen worked in the beer distribution industry for over 30 years and was currently employed by Eagle Rock Distributing Company in Colorado Springs. His favorite band since he was a teenager was Rush and his all-time favorite artist was Michael Jackson. Music was something that always spoke to his soul and connected him to those he missed. Glen was proud of his baseball days in his younger years and reminisced often with friends and family.
Every sunrise and sunset was seen with fresh eyes and he loved how they began and ended each of his days. His love and amazement for lightning storms and blizzards made him feel like a young boy again with wonderment and whimsy shining in his eyes. He was proud and full of love for everything that he put his heart into. Glen will be greatly missed and always loved by those who survive him.
He is survived by his father Odell (Bud); older brother Richard (Diane) of Woodland Park, Colorado; daughters Kelsea, Kailea, and Katherine, all of Colorado Springs; Kaley of Tucson; and his grandchildren, along with his aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and numerous wonderful friends and co-workers. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
