

Glenn Charles Crissey was born in Miami, Florida, on April 19, 1958. He died peacefully at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on March 14, 2025. Glenn was a loving son, brother and uncle. As a boy he loved ski racing and later became an avid and skilled fly fisherman, a pursuit that he enjoyed throughout his life. He was also a talented musician who played guitar and drums and sang. He loved watching sports, especially football and auto racing. Glenn graduated from Colorado State University and had a professional career as a civil engineer, specializing in drainage projects including work at the Air Force Academy and the Colorado Springs airport.
Glenn was predeceased by his father and mother, Merrill E. Crissey and Marjorie L. Crissey, and by two siblings, brother Mark and sister Margie Lou. He is survived by his brother, Dr. Michael M. Crissey, sister-in-law Linda Scott Crissey, nieces Joy Honea, Valerie Lee, and Sarah Crissey, and step-nephew and niece, Dr. Benjamin Scott and Amy Scott, as well as by ten grandnieces and grandnephews, Fletcher, Duncan and Anna Honea, Norah, Cormac, and Eamon Lee, James and Paul Scott, and Julianne and Eliza Heilner.
Glenn was a kind and quiet man. We love you and miss you, Glenn. Rest in peace.
