He was a man who loved his family deeply and found joy in the simple things that made life meaningful. His three sons and granddaughter were among the greatest loves of his life, and the time he spent with them created memories that will be cherished forever.
He had a passion for anything with wheels and a motor. He loved working on cars, getting his hands dirty, and taking pride in bringing things back to life. Motocross was another great passion- whether he was watching from the sidelines or participating himself; he loved the excitement, the competition, and the freedom that came from it. he also enjoyed getting out on his bicycle, always ready for another ride and another adventure.
When he wasn’t working on cars or enjoying motocross, you could often find him around one of his many grills, or smokers, doing what he loved best –grilling and feeding the people he cared about. For him, cooking wasn't just about the food: it was about bringing the family together, sharing stories, laughing and making memories.
His little dogs were also a special part of his life, bringing him companionship, love, and plenty of personality.
Martial arts and wrestling were another important part of his life. He enjoyed the discipline, challenge, and dedication that came with training. It wasn't just about learning the techniques- it was about building strength, confidence, respect, and perseverance. He took pride in pushing himself to become better, and the lessons he learned through training reflected the determination and strength he carried throughout his life.
From November 1, 1984, to November 9, 1989, he proudly served his country in the United States Army, as a member of the 101st Airborne Division. As part of this highly trained unit he was prepared to deploy by parachute into areas behind enemy lines, carrying out missions that required courage, strength, discipline and dedication. He spent much of his military service stationed in Germany, where he made lasting memories. He took great pride in his service and in the time he spent as a member of the 101st airborne and his commitment to his country was something his family will always remember and honor.
Above all else he was a family man he loved his three sons adored his granddaughter and nothing meant more to him then spending time with them. His love, strength, humor, and passion for life will live on through the people who knew and loved him.
Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in every car worked on, every motorcycle ride, every backyard BBQ, every laugh shared, and every family event.
