Jim was born in 1961 in Roswell, New Mexico, where he spent his growing up years. He eventually moved to Albuquerque, NM, where he met Susan. They married and raised three children together.
Jim is survived by his three children: James (Lexi), Adam, and Heather; his sister, Katie; and one grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents - Harvey and Adele Gill.
Jim's idea of heaven on earth was spending time at the family cabin on Lake Chelan in central Washington. He spent many summers at the cabin as a child and took his own family there often for vacation when they were growing up. Jim had a love for classic rock, which he passed along to his son, JD. He was an excellent guitarist and loved to 'jam' with friends whenever he got a chance. He also liked to go fishing with his son, Adam, and his good buddy, Mario, when he had a chance. He loved to ski in the winter and also enjoyed 4-wheeling in his big yellow Jeep during the summer months. When his daughter, Heather, was growing up, they both looked forward to the annual Daddy/Daughter Dance, where they got to dress up, dance, and spend the evening together.
