I remember a very PATIENT lady and a great mom. It's a good thing we were such little angels. Many good times and fond memories.

I will miss Aunt Ilene so much. We talked often and always wound up laughing about one thing or another. One of us would start by saying "do you remember...." and then the other would say it. If any of our family asked about something in the past, I would say "I'll ask Aunt Ilene. She will know", and she always did.

We shared May 27th as our birthday and tried to touch base each year. We also loved great guys! Glen was perfect and he sure loved Ilene! She will be missed.

Auntie..you were always such a small woman with a big presence in our lives.. I remember as a child .. wanting beautiful fingernails like you had. It made me stop biting mine.. such a silly memory but it always makes me smile. Rest in peace dear auntie.
