Iliana Caraveo passed away November 14th, 2024, at the age of 57. She was a native of Chihuahua, Mexico and resident of Colorado Springs. Iliana truly knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds as many in the community can attest to. Iliana was determined to make a difference and after pursuing her education over many years while working various jobs and living all over the world as a military wife, she finally completed all the requirements for her Doctoral degree (ABD) and opened her own business as a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in providing services to the underprivileged and underserved Hispanic community in El Paso and neighboring counties. Iliana was a Mexican-American that cherished her life in the US but took great pride in her culture and heritage.
Iliana was a loving wife, mother and a beautiful soul who would help anyone. Her radiant smile lit up any room she entered. She enjoyed traveling, nature, painting, singing, and learning. She lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved dogs, Blue and Bear. Although Iliana is gone much too soon, she will live in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her husband Darrell Adams; her children, Jacob and Joshua Lipphardt; mother, Elena Caraveo; brothers, Daniel, Rene, and Antonio; sisters, Armida, Dina, and Martha. She was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Caraveo and sister, Delila.
