Jack Ivan Brady Jr., 82, lost his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on June 28, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born on May 6, 1943, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Jack was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Jack lived a full and vibrant life marked by dedication to his family, faith, and community.
Jack pursued higher education at the University of Florida, proudly cheering on the Gators throughout his life. His professional journey led him into finance before he found his true calling in real estate. As a broker and home builder, Jack left a lasting legacy-not only through the homes he helped others find but also through the one he built for his family over 30 years ago. That home became the heart of countless cherished memories.
For over 60 years, Jack was a loving husband to Diana-a partnership rooted in affection and mutual respect. Together they raised three children: Kimberlee Brady; Christopher Brady; and Ashley Deaver. Jack took immense pride in his role as a father and grandfather. He cherished time spent with his son-in-law, Michael Deaver, and six grandchildren-Jaden, Michaela, Charlotte, Alexandra, Owen, and Amelia-each of whom brought him great joy.
He is also remembered fondly by his brother Garry Augustine, sister Susan Dogan, and numerous friends and family. Jack was preceded in death by his mother Marjorie Augustine; stepfather Melton Augustine; and father Jack Brady Sr.
A man of deep faith and strong values, Jack placed great importance on family and spiritual life. His warmth extended beyond bloodlines-he cultivated many lifelong friendships that brought joy and laughter into every stage of his life.
Jack had an enduring passion for sports. Whether swinging a racket on the tennis court, a paddle on the pickleball court, or teeing off for a round of golf-he embraced competition with enthusiasm and grace. A loyal fan of all Colorado professional sports teams, he especially enjoyed rooting for the Nuggets and Broncos.
Known for his tall stature and even taller spirit, Jack was both fun-loving and faithful. He never missed an opportunity to take Diana for a spin on the dance floor or to share stories with friends old and new. His presence lit up every room he entered.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. May Jack Ivan Brady Jr.'s memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire all who were touched by his remarkable life.
