Hello, I worked with Jim ("Cannonball") Michopoulos at Mountain Valley Ambulance in the early days when women were "new" to EMS. He was helpful, humorous, professional, and "real". I was inspired by his empathy and enthusiasm for providing the best care for all patients and situations. It is not a stretch to say that his example contributed greatly to my medical profession career. I will truly miss him but his humor and caring remains. He gave much and took little....as it should be. Dee

I was saddened to hear about Jim's passing, we had played football against each other in high school and I worked with him at Michelle when I was a teenager. Jim was a great guy and fun to be around...I still remember him showing me how to properly make Greek coffee. My deep condolences to Andy and the rest of the Michopoulos family.

Growing up, we spent many a Friday night at Michelles. Jim was a wonderful person to know in High School. He also gave a job to my oldest son when he entered the workforce. He will be sorely missed by many. Prayers are with the family.

To Jim's Family - So sorry to learn of your loss. Though I didn't know Jim personally, I knew his brother, Andy. The family business - Michelle's - is one of my fondest memories of living in Colorado Springs. Andy, please know that my prayers go out to you at this time. May Jim be at peace now. He will always hold a special place in the hearts of those that knew him.
