Born in Austin, Texas. Jane graduated from San Jacinto High School in Texas, and from the University of Texas in 1956 with a BA in PE/Health and a minor in Biological Science. Jane moved to Colorado Springs in 1961. She taught at St Mary's High School, and in District 11, retiring from her 30 year career in 1986 at North Jr. High as a part-time PE Teacher and part-time counselor. Preceded in death by her parents, Guy Edward and Blanche (Manis) Bogar and her brother John. Jane never married or had children. She loved her boxers Rocky and Lady, and she will be dearly missed.
