Jane Frances Staven

Jane was born October 5, 1966 to Arthur Phillip Steinbroner and Patricia Ann Rossbottom at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital, Whittier, CA. After Jane graduated from St. Paul High School in 1984, she began her career as a medical receptionist and completed it as an amazing mother, bride, and home maker.

In 1990, Jane met Greg on her birthday in Anaheim, CA and married exactly one year later in Kaneohe Bay, HI. They traveled and settled wherever the military sent them, eventually retiring in Colorado Springs, CO. Jane and Greg went on to have three children, Drew, Arianna, and Olivia. Jane was known for her kindness, friendship, love, fierceness, & support for her family.

Paving the way for to join the Lord is her Pops: Art, Father-in-law: Marvin, and Aunts: DeDe & Jackie.

Jane is survived by her Husband: Greg, Children: Drew, Ari, & Lizzie, Mother: Patricia, and her Siblings: Arthur, Mary, Thomas, Anne, Kathleen, & Joseph. As well as, her Brother-in-law: Rick and Sisters-in-law: Francine & Heidi. Jane is also survived by over fifty loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc. (Monsignor Gregory Cox, Executive Director), St. Gregory the Great Catholic Parish of Whittier, CA, or cancer research donation of your choice in Jane’s name.
