Jean was born August 23, 1925 in Salina, KS to Lawrence Joseph and Hazel Dean Nelson. Jean was the first born child. Growing up in Salina she loved socializing and spending time with friends. Jean graduated from Salina High School in 1942. Jean moved to Colorado with her family in the 1950’s, where she raised her children.
Jean is survived by her 3 children; Ken Errett, Suzy Fields, Dane Krug, 8 step children of 41 years, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held graveside at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, CO, April 28, 2023 at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
