Beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, student, and friend. Jeremy was born November 10, 2005 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and passed away August 22, 2019 at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He attended 8th Grade at Thomas Maclaren School where he was a proud member of several athletic teams, including soccer and basketball.
He is survived by his loving parents, Victor and Christine Matos; beloved siblings Caleb Matos and Allie Matos; maternal grandparents, David and Allison Strauss; paternal grandmother Maria Perez; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Amable Matos.
He will be lovingly remembered for his love for Jesus and regard for others, and for his passion for the Denver Broncos, his favorite sports team. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, September 6th, 4:00pm at Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 5055 El Camino Drive, Colorado Springs. Refreshments will be offered immediately after the service.
