Jewel was the best! She was a friend, aunt to my kids, a sister and we all loved her a lot. She loved her husband, her kids and adored her grandkids, the world was a better place with Jewel in it. She will be missed.

Mom, it has been a few days since God has called you away.
Oh! How the Angels rejoiced as you walked through those pearly gates that morning.
Mom, when they said you were going to die
I refused to believe it could be true. How could I allow myself to to even imagine saying goodbye to you?
Mom, you were an Angel here on Earth, I learned so much from you. You were so Gentle and so Kind and so Giving and so Loving; your Smile would always see me through.
You taught me to Love unconditionally and to be my best in all I do.
You gave your all to God and your family, never once stopping to think about you.
You were more than a Mother. You were my best friend and a great listener too.
Oh, how I will miss our special talk's and all the fun things we would do and just bieng together.
Mom, I can never say Goodbye to you: because I could never bear the pain. Instead, I will say I Love You Mom; until we meet again I will laugh and smile thinking of you.
Your loving son,
Jeffery Todd Irwin

Brian, Jeff and family

Thank you for the call letting us know of Jewel's passing. My deepest sympathies to you all. She was such a treasure. Your mom and dad were such a joy, and your mom made great efforts to bridge the miles between Colorado and Maine. She shared genealogy information your dad had, and had the greatest smile. My mom (your Aunt Barbara) absolutely loved her and so enjoyed visiting you all.

I wish I was closer so I could be with you in the days ahead. Know that I am with you in spirit, miss you all greatly and send hugs and love. I know your dad met your mom when she crossed over and that my mom was right there as well.

I hope to be able to connect with you all soon.

Karen (Harris/Irwin) Connolly, Maine
