Joan Mary Dutko

Joan Dutko passed away on 12 Feb 2014 at the age of 83. Joan Hood was born and raised in Pittston PA, where she married Michael Dutko in 1950. They moved to Miami FL where they lived for the next 51 years. While in Miami, Joan celebrated the birth of her daughter Robin and her Golden Wedding Anniversary. Additionally, she had a successful career at Victoria Hospital as the Business Office Manager. Following her husband’s death in Oct 2001, Joan moved to Colorado Springs CO where she lived with her son-in-law and daughter, Ed and Robin Weiss, until her death. She enjoyed family, friends, football (Go Dolphins!) and above all her two grandkids: Jennifer and Andrew. Her family and friends will fondly remember “Aunt Joan”/ “Grandma Joan” for her loving and caring personality and her generosity. Joan was proceeded in death by her husband, a brother Robert and a sister Mary Schriver. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, two grandkids, brother Frank / “Bucko” and sisters Jean Himm and Peggy Rincavage and many beloved nieces and nephews. Thank you for being an integral part of our lives and may our Lord welcome you into his Kingdom.
