Joan Mae Pennington

Joan was preceded in death by her beloved: son Patrick; great grandchild Josiah; parents John and Helen Murin; and sister Marion (Thomas).

Joan is survived by her devoted and loving husband Roger, married for 58 years. Joan is also

survived by her loving children: Mike (Denise); John (Andrea); Mark (Naomi); Paul (Sharon). Her loving grandchildren: Nicole; Daniel (Krista); John (Jamie); Christopher (Sarah); Jenny; Joseph; Dalton. Her loving great grandchildren: Joseph; Gabriella; Owen.

Joan loved worshipping the Lord and she loved spending time with her husband and family. She was also a long-time parishioner at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she served as a dedicated Sunday School teacher for over forty years and where she also enjoyed tending their garden.

A rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m., prior to the funeral mass which begins at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3122 Poinsetta Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
