Col. Ret. John (Jack) F. Castonguay, age 73, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, 31 August 2021. Jack a devout Catholic, was born 2 January 1948 in DuBois, Pennsylvania. A graduate of DuBois Central Catholic High School and St. Francis University of Loretto, PA. With advanced degrees from Florida Institute of Technology in Environmental Engineering and Procurement Management. Colonel Castonguay who served in the US ARMY had long military career included service in Viet Nam as well as the Persian Gulf War. He was awarded the De Fleury Medal from the Corps of Engineers.
His parents Richard and Alice Maicki Castonguay are deceased. Jack is survived by his wife Rose Mills Castonguay; his son Richard: his daughter Francesca Dugger (Mony); his daughter Nicole Maglio (John): and his daughter Jackie Thompson (Steve). He was blessed with three grandchildren: Jordyne Dugger, Dorian Dugger, and John Dorian Maglio. He is survived by four brothers: Richard (Jane), Christopher (Verda), Karl (Ginny), and Robert Lon (Dawn), and one sister Alice.

A graveside committal will be conducted Thursday, October 22, 2021 t 12:00 p.m. at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925.
