John James "Jim" Chase (78) passed away at his home of 34 years. Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Irma, and four children, Charles, Anthony, Patricia and Martha, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Jim, a Vietnam Veteran, was an ardent patriot, serving 27 years in the U.S. Army as a field medic and later as a drill instructor. Jim loved his country and his family. Jim was also passionate about music, a trait he passed on to his children and grandchildren. The sounds of his violin and banjo will forever resonate in the hearts of those who loved him.
A memorial service will be held on Good Friday, April 3 at 10:00 am at the Swan Law Funeral Home .
