John B. Coats, passed away April 5, 2015 at the age of 80. He was the co-owner of Don's Cycles and Apex Sports from 1960 until September of 1993. John enjoyed hunting and shooting during his retirement years.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters, Karen Coats, Kim Coats and grandson, John Michael Coats; his step-children, Sidney Miller, Kenny Miller and Karen Miller.
John was blessed to have many friends and a large extended family.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 11th from 2-4 PM at 38 Lake Avenue in Colorado Springs.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Colorado Springs.
