John D'Amario

In loving memory of John Louis D'Amario who was a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle. He proceeded in death by his mother Florence D'Amario and survived by his father Michael D'Amario, wife Susan, sons Michael and Shawn, daughter-in-law Chelsea, granddaughter Emily. He is also survived by his sisters Michele Phelps (Elliott), Donna Chrivia (Ron) and Lisa D'Amario. Nephews Tony Phelps, Ryan Burkett, Patrick Phelps. Nieces Sunday Phelps-Ezit (Joe), Amber Burkett, Taylor Phelps, and Sophia Ezit.

John was born in Long Island, NY at Mitchell Field Air Force Base on December 9th, 1952 and past away at his home in Colorado Springs on October 1st, 2011.

John served in the Navy from 1968 to 1972 and was a Vietnam Veteran. He married his wife Susan of 27 years on April 30th 1984 in Anchorage, Alaska. They moved back to Colorado Springs in 1984 where the family still resides. He was a passionate hunter, photographer and outdoors-men.

Services will be held at Swan Law Funeral Home, 501 N Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO on Saturday October 8, 2011 at 10:00 am with reception following at Swan Law.
