John D. Elder, 67, passed away in Colorado Springs, CO on June 6, 2020. Born in Hutchinson, KS John lived in Woodland Park, CO and then Colorado Springs, CO graduating from Cheyenne Mountain High School and University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
John was a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, enjoying the beauty of the city and Colorado. An avid skier at age 6, he pursued skiing until he was physically no longer able to enjoy the sport. He married twice, raising 3 step-children. He worked alongside his parents in real estate and property management and later followed his passion for computer technical services.
John had been in declining health. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence, and his mother, Mary. He is survived by his brother James, a niece, and several cousins.
In respect of the corona virus epidemic, no service will be held.
